Since then, I have always wanted to paint the 'feeling of aloha' that I have had every time I have walked in the door . . . I finally got up the courage to visit and to ask Florence for permission to attempt to capture her kind and generous spirit . . . she modestly agreed. I now feel as though I have found a new friend . . . The greatest joy is to see how many people know her and comment on how much they love stopping by when they are in Keokea!
